Miss KWASSI has a Postgraduate Diploma ( D.E.A) in remote sensing and GIS, environmental and spatial analysis, from the University of Cocody, Abidjan - Côte d'Ivoire, 2002. She also has a masters degree in population geography from the University of Benin, Lomé Togo. Associated to the CNDO, Miss KWASSI has already led numerous studies in population geography and environmental science. Her studies have included the following: 2002- Report of D.E.A.- Subject: "contribution of the satellite images and remote sensing for integrated coastal zone management: mapping of mangrove stands and land use mapping of the Ehotilé islands (Aby lagoon- Côte d'Ivoire)". Centre Universitaire de Recherche et d'Application en Télédétection (CURAT) - University of Cocody, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, 78 p. 2002 Master's dissertation. Title: "Study of the rural populations of the coastal zone of Togo". Department of geography, University of Benin, Lomé, 130p. 2000- "Physical constraints and social aspects in the coastal zone of Togo", presentation presented during 1st international scientific conference of the University of Benin, 8th - 11th May. 1999- Participation in the research on the "Environmental Profile of the Coast of Togo " working within the project "Large Marine Ecosystem of the Bay of Guinea". Study on the "Use of Landsat TM imagery as a tool for mapping mangrove forest; a case study of Ehotilé Island in Côte d'Ivoire" is currently in the process of being written. Research assistant in the CGILE since 1999, she has good experience in demographic studies, database creation and modeling using GIS and environmental information.
