Coordinator of the project ODINAFRICA-II / COI-UNESCO: network of data exchange of oceanographic information, (National Centre of Oceanographic Data of Togo). Dr BLIVI is a lecturer in the department of geography at the University of Lomé. He is a graduate of the University of Bordeaux 3 Michel Montaigne, where he completed his doctoral thesis, a study on the "Geomorphology and Current Dynamics of the Coast and Bay of Guinea, West Africa". Adoté BLIVI has contributed and participated in the completion of 11 scientific works and 15 published articles in journals of international recognition. He has wide university experience and since 1995 has been the director of the Environmental and Coastal Integrated Management Research Centre (CGILE) of the University of Lomé. A University lecturer since 1986, Dr BLIVI successively managed the "Coastal Erosion" project from 1991 untill 1995 and was head of the department of geography at the University of Lomé from 1998 to 2001. Other titles and postions held include: President of the national program LOICZ-Land-Ocean Interations in Coastal Zone, IGBP; Operational and Technical Coordinator of the large marine ecosystem of the Bay of Guinea project (Large marine ecosystem - LME) - Togo; Iinternational Consultant for the ONUDI; Technical Coordinator for Chevron and ICF Consulting ( Houston-USA). Dr BLIVI has a wide range of knowledge and experience in conducting and managing environmental studies, particularly in the coastal zone.
