Mr ADJOUSSI has a PhD Diploma. Pessiezoum D. ADJOUSSI is a data management of the NODC and is also responsible for developing and maintaining the internet website. P. ADJOUSSI is currently studying for a PhD in the geography department of the University of Lomé. His research for his thesis is examining the threat to coastal resources due to climate change and subsequent sea level rise, using the example of the coast of Togo. P. ADJOUSSI has gained excellent experience in conducting environmental studies as he has already completed two studies on the topic of the environmental change. The first study was titled "global climatic change: an evaluation of the climatic changes in Togo". The second concerned the impact of the human activities to the erosion of the coastline, particularly "the impact of sand mining to the natural evolution of the coastline at Yoff: A study of vulnerability (Cap Vert Peninsula, Senegal) ".

He has also studied remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at the Laboratory of Education and Research in Géomatique (LERG), University Campus of the Polytechnic College Dakar-Fann, Senegal, and contributed to the study of examining the present green house gases in Togo and their effects to climate change whilst within the project of National Communication on Climate change (CNCC).
